　　历经多年的积极筹备，广州亚组委终于达至这一里程碑，确是一大成就。亚太高协对亚运筹备工作的进展感到欣喜，并期待在明年的亚运会上与各位紧密合作，共同在九龙湖高尔夫俱乐部呈现一届成功的高尔夫球赛。

　　在此，亚太高协祝愿广州亚组委在未来一年工作顺利，期待第16届广州亚运会能成为一届盛事。

　　On behalf of the Asia-Pacific Golf Confederation, I am pleased to offer this message of congratulations on the launch of the One-Year Countdown to the 16th Asian Games to be held inGuangzhou,China.

　　Reaching this milestone is a significant achievement for theGuangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee (GAGOC) and comes after many years of hard work. We are very pleased with the progress in the planning of the Games and look forward to working closely with your officials over the next year to help stage a successful golf competition at Dragon Lake Golf Club.

　　The APGC wishes the GAGOC all the best over the coming year and we look forward to an outstanding 16thAsian Games inGuangzhou.
